For Parents of Cancer Kids

I can’t imagine what it would be like to watch my child suffer through treatments and surgeries, all to lose him or her in the end.  To parents of children facing cancer, my absolute best and strength.  Hold on to every bit of comfort and stability you can find.  If you’re reading this post and have lost your child to cancer, there’s nothing I or anyone could say to make things better.  To some extent, time really is the only thing that helps.

If you know people whose children are still fighting this battle, pass along the address to this site, The Never-Ending Squirrel Tale.  It offers support, understanding, and even a little humor to parents facing childhood cancer, and it’s written by those with first hand experience.  Hopefully, some of you who are facing this terrible situation might find a bit of respite there.
